A nomination for 8 properties in Gum Springs has been submitted for a proposed amendment to remove zoning designation for office and increase residential density to 8 to 12 dwelling units per acre. Current residential use is no more than 3 to 4 dwelling units per acre. Traffic impact will be on Sherwood Hall Lane at Richmond Highway. Proposed site development is on Kingland Road and one property on Douglas St.
